In the wake of scoring his 37th and 38th league goals, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was taken aside at the Ooredoo training centre and awarded a trophy for the most goals by a Paris Saint-Germain player in a Ligue 1 season.
Following his double against Nantes, the Swedish striker ended up a goal ahead of Carlos Bianchi's long-standing record (37 Ligue 1 goals in season 1977-1978). Zlatan became the club's all-tine top scorer in all competitions in October 2015, his two penalties against Marseille (2-1) breaking Pedro Pauleta's record of 109. Since then, the Paris striker took his overall tally to 154… and there is still the Coupe de France final against Marseille on Saturday should he be looking to score even more…
